For us, nothing but the best is good enough. In order to guarantee first-class quality, we only use organic teas from sustainable cultivation. There are 8 tea capsules in one pack, to make 8 unique cups of tea.
They should be stored in a dry, dark place to ensure that your tea retains its full aroma. Our packaging is therefore designed to not only look good, but also optimally fulfil all storage requirements.
As soon as you insert a capsule of your favourite tea into the capsule compartment of the Avoury One tea machine, it immediately recognises which type of tea it is. The tea capsule automatically docks to the specially designed brewing chamber to prepare your tea. The brewing chamber fills with water at the perfect temperature, which then slowly circulates between the tea capsule and the chamber at low pressure. The tea leaves are gently mixed several times by targeted thrusts of water to elicit every nuance of their aroma. After 1-5 minutes of brewing time, the tea is ready and your cup is filled with perfectly prepared tea. Enjoy!
If you prefer a personalised tea experience, you can use the control panel or app to customise the cup size and brewing time to your liking.
Quality means everything to us. That’s why all the materials that come into contact with the tea or hot water have been tested by specialists for their food safety. This also means that using the tea machine cannot harm your health. Of course, this also applies to the tea capsule.
No – the tea machine can easily be operated by hand and without an Internet connection. Or, for more convenience, you can also use the app. The app communicates via Bluetooth with the tea machine.
Preparing the perfect tea is not as easy as it may seem. For example, green tea needs a lower water temperature than black tea to develop the perfect aroma. The various teas differ even when it comes to the ideal brewing time. The tea machine therefore immediately recognises which capsule you have inserted and then adjusts the brewing time and water temperature to the respective type of tea.
Of course you can brew your tea according to your preferences. Water quantity and brewing time can be adjusted individually to influence the strength of the tea. The brewing temperature is predefined for each type of tea to guarantee the perfect taste.
To save energy and guarantee the highest level of security, the device automatically switches to stand-by mode 2 minutes after the last use.
Unlike making tea with a kettle, the tea machine only heats the amount of water that is really needed, thus helping to save energy.
The tank has a volume of 1.5 litres of water – enough for five cups of high-quality tea.
As an environmentally conscious company, we guarantee the proper disposal of our tea machines. The separation and recycling of individual materials is particularly important to us. The devices are registered with the Register for Waste Electric Equipment (Elektro-Altgeräte-Register/EAR) and are recycled according to the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive. Precious metals are separated from the circuit boards and plastics are removed from the casing. So if you ever want to part with your tea machine, you can just send it back to us. We will take care of the postage charges.
When you register your Avoury One tea machine, you receive a full service for everything to do with your tea machine. In addition, we offer exciting facts about tea consumption and personal machine information in your customer account. In addition, you can receive offers and information tailored to you and your tea machine by email or directly in your app if required to suit your needs – for your perfect Avoury experience.
Please log in to your customer account in the Avoury Shop. Under the menu item “My Machines” you can register the tea machines you have purchased and add them to the profile – whether you have bought them from us in the Avoury online store or at one of our local retail partners.
If you have not added a tea machine yet, there will be a corresponding notification and the button “Add Machine”. Clicking on this button will open a dialogue box where you can enter the necessary data (name, serial number, date of purchase). This information is pre-filled if you have bought the tea machine online and the tea machine and your account are able to be linked. Then all you have to do is name the tea machine and you’re done!
After registering the tea machine, you will find your personal dashboard in your customer account under “My Machines”. If machine data is available, you will, for example, see your water consumption and when the next descaling is due. If no machine data is available, this will be because you are not using our Avoury app yet.
If a tea machine has already been added, it will be listed in your customer account under “My Machines”. When you click on the link “Remove from account”, a confirmation prompt will appear. This must first be confirmed before the tea machine is finally removed from your user profile.
Yes. In order to always guarantee a perfect, “unmixed” taste experience, the machine is rinsed with a small amount of water after each brewing process. Fully automatic. However, we recommend that you also regularly maintain the tea machine using our Cleaning Capsules and our Liquid Descaler.
You should use the Avoury Cleaning Capsules as soon as the tea machine indicates that it needs a thorough clean. In general, it is a good idea to clean the tea machine once a month.
In order to enjoy your tea machine for as long as possible, you should descale it from time to time. For this purpose, we have a special Liquid Descaler which is optimally designed for our system. Practical tip: if you use our Water Filter, your tea machine will need descaling much less frequently.
There are micro-organisms living in our drinking water. Over time, it can happen that they multiply if the water in the water tank stagnates. These impurities do not pose a problem for your tea consumption, since the water is heated to at least 75°C to kill any micro-organisms. However, it is possible that the taste of the tea may be affected. We therefore recommend changing the water at least every other day and the filter at least every two months to best enjoy your tea. Please do not forget to perform regular maintenance on your tea machine with our Liquid Descaler and our Cleaning Capsules.

The taste of tea is also affected by the hardness of the water. Water hardness varies from city to city and region to region, depending on the proportion of minerals dissolved in the water. In order to guarantee optimal water hardness and thus the best possible taste, we recommend using our Water Filter. Perfect tea enjoyment – no matter where you live.

Because nature is as important to us as good tea, we ship all orders in an environmentally friendly way, with DHL GoGreen. What is so special about this is that the CO2 emissions emitted during shipment are neutralised. Your order reaches its destination 100% carbon-neutral – and without any additional costs. You also have the choice between the following delivery options: DHL Standard Shipping, DHL ExpressEasy, DHL Preferred-time, Packstation. Would you like to know when your order will be delivered? No problem: just check your account and track your shipment.
Orders over 70 euros are delivered free of charge. For orders with a value less than this, Standard Shipping costs 3.90 euros. The final shipping costs depend on your shopping cart and the delivery option you’ve chosen.
We deliver tea from an order quantity of 6 boxes to any postal address within Germany. If you want to order more tea varieties than this, the order quantity is always increased by 6 more boxes. This means you can order 6, 12, 18, 24 boxes, and so forth. This is to ensure optimal use of the package, which means that we need no further filler material to compensate for possible voids. In this way, we can send your tea in a particularly sustainable manner. You are always free to choose the type of the tea varieties.
Of course – you can edit or cancel your order up to 15 minutes after you have made your purchase. To do so, log in to your customer account and go to “My orders”> “View order”> “Cancel order”. If more than 15 minutes have passed since you placed your order, this is no longer possible. The return button will then be displayed. You can also call us on freephone 00800 7000 6000. Our Avoury TEAm will answer all your questions about ordering and shipping and will gladly advise you on your selection of teas.
Of course, in addition to the option of cancelling your order, you of course also have the statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days.
If your order is received by 3 p.m., it will be dispatched the same day. Your tea, tea machine or accessories should reach you within two - four working days.
Of course – simply choose your preferred Packstation as the delivery address using our Packstation Finder or inform our Avoury TEAm accordingly. You can pay for this by credit card and PayPal. Please also note that you must first register with DHL if you want to make use of a Packstation.
Of course! We want to make your way to your favourite tea as easy as possible. Just log in with your access data into your customer account. Under the menu item “My orders” you then select the order that you would like to reorder. Just click on “Reorder” and exactly the same order (products, quantity etc.) will be placed in your shopping cart.
First of all we recommend you check in your customer account. Please log in to the Avoury Shop with your access data. Under the menu item “My orders” you can check the status of your orders at a glance. Simply click on the relevant order in the summary and you can track your shipment with the specified DHL tracking number. Our customers will also receive their tracking number via email from DHL, as well as updates on the shipment and the progress of a shipment. In addition, we will of course also help you personally. Definitely. All cardboard and packing paper we use for shipping are made from recycled material and can be recycled again. In addition, they are FSC-certified.
Of course! Our teas are as diverse as the preferences of our customers. If you don’t like a variety that you have ordered, you can simply return the product within 14 days, without having to give a reason. The same goes for our accessories and tea machines. Please use the return form as well as the DHL return label which accompany each delivery.
If you no longer have the form at hand, you can select the respective order in your customer account under “My orders” and download the return slip and the return label. This option is available to you for the 14-day withdrawal period. If you also need a return document, please contact our Avoury TEAm, who will provide you with a reprint in special cases.
Please remember to complete the return form, noting which items are being returned and indicating the reason for the return. Put the return slip inside the return package, just stick the return label for the free returns on the package and you’re done!
In order to be able to make purchases in the Avoury Shop, you must create a customer account. You can only access this area by logging in and it functions as a self-service area. This is where you manage all areas of your account: your details, orders, Avoury subscription and wish list. You can also link your tea machine to your customer account.
To access your customer account, you have to register first. The log in button is always displayed in the top right corner of the Avoury Shop. After logging in, you will be taken straight to the summary of all the functions of your customer account.
After you have logged in to your customer account with your access data, you will be taken straight to the summary of all the functions in your customer account. Under the menu item “My details” you can then view and change the details you have provided, such as name, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address. Under the menu item “My addresses” you will find all the addresses that you have created for your orders. Please don’t forget to update these addresses when you move.

After each order you will receive an order confirmation from us by e-mail. To remain up to date, you can view your orders in your customer account After you have logged in, click on the menu item “My orders”. There you will find a summary (date, order number, delivery status, total price) of all the orders you have placed with your account. If you want to see all available information about a particular order, just click on “View order”. Here you will find, among other things, the DHL tracking link to track the shipment, as well as the invoice, which you can download.

There are two ways for you to set up an individual subscription. At the end of placing an order you can simply click on the button “+ create subscription” in the order confirmation. Or you can create a subscription in your customer account under “My subscriptions”. Here you will also find all the important information about subscriptions you have already created, such as the status (active or suspended), interval and delivery day (e.g. every 6 weeks on Fridays), the date of the next delivery and the total amount for all the items in your subscription.
If you want to know more about a specific subscription, you can get to the corresponding detailed page via “View subscription”. Here you can change the subscription, among other things, and for instance add and remove products. If you want to suspend the subscription (depending on the interval, the next delivery will be skipped) or pause it (all subsequent deliveries are suspended and the entire subscription paused), this is also where you change these settings. Please note: You can change or delete your subscription up to 3 days before the next automatic delivery. We will send you an email as a reminder of your order.
Once you have placed all the items you want in your basket, proceed to the order process via “Checkout”. Here you select “Gift card” as a payment method in step 3/4 under “Payment” and enter the code on the gift card. The amount is then reduced accordingly. You can also redeem other Avoury benefits (discount and coupon codes) in the basket in the appropriate field.
We are thrilled that you want to surprise someone with Avoury. You can buy our gift cards in the Avoury Shop, where you can choose the design and value of the gift card. You will receive our gift cards in the post. If you need it in a hurry, we can also send it to you as a digital gift card. You can choose this option on the product detail page for your gift card.
Please note that you cannot add digital gift cards to your basket and check out along with other products. A digital gift card can only be ordered separately. A normal gift card, on the other hand, can be ordered together with other items without restrictions.
It’s no problem if you don’t know what you want to buy with your gift card. Our gift cards have no expiry date and can therefore be used whenever.

If you don’t use up the entire balance of your gift card when placing an order, the remaining balance will remain on the card and can be used with your next order by again entering the same code on the gift card.
If the scratch pad on the gift card is still intact it may be returned within the return period, like any other Avoury product.
